THEORETICAL REFERENCE FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW YET

What is Bug Bin?
Bug bin refers to number sequences (bins) representing credit cards or debit cards that have errors in the issuance process, allowing users to create cards that can be activated without requiring information verification (such as account balance or card status).

How to Find Bug Bins:

Choose Lesser-Known Countries
You start by searching for bug bins in countries that receive less attention, such as Puerto Rico, Mali, or Mauritius. These countries are less well-known, so the control systems there may be more prone to errors.
Choose Visa or Mastercard Type
Focus on selecting Visa cards, as experience shows that Visa has more potential for bug bins to appear compared to other card types.
Create and Test Cards
- Create several cards from the bins you found.
- Then, test these cards on online payment services like Stripe Auth. Stripe Auth is a card testing tool that allows you to know whether a card is valid and usable.
- If the card doesn't require CVV information but is still accepted, or only needs the card number and cardholder's name (CCN - Cardholder's Name), then that's a sign of a bug bin.
Check for Consistency:
- After finding a CCN card, create two more cards from the same bin and test again.
- If both of these cards also only need CCN and no other information while remaining valid, then this is indeed a bug bin.
- Additionally, sometimes bug bins don't just stop at providing CCN, but can also provide CVV, making fraud easier.
