HOW TO HAVE AN ANONYMOUS PHONE NUMBER:

The first thing to mention, anonymity with the mobile phone.
Many of you will think that I will talk about VPNs, proxies .... but nope, today I am here to talk about ......

ANONYMOUS SIM CARDS
Do they exist? Are they possible to find and buy? Are they legal?

If you have just discovered them thanks to me, I guess you will be asking yourself these questions, but don't worry, everything will be solved here.

The main and obvious advantage of the anonymous SIM is the anonymity it offers, but how do you get it?

From the beginning, you buy the SIM without having to associate any personal document (neither DNI, nor KYC...), so it is not in any way in your name.
Another advantage is the anonymity of geolocation, you know that calls can be traced by the nearest connection tower, because the anonymous SIM cards act as a proxychain, they bounce on several towers before giving the signal, thus having a plus of security guarantee.

Anonymous SIM cards also hide your phone number by forwarding your call through a virtual PBX.
This has two possible uses:
-First, you can completely mask your phone number so that the person you are calling thinks it is an anonymous phone number.
-And you can also use it to assume the identity of another phone number.

Then, anonymous SIMs can have a surcharge if you want the calls to be encrypted, have a voice modulator .....

And you may ask... well, where do you buy them?

You can't just walk into any phone store and buy an anonymous SIM card, none of the major providers offer them, if you want one you will have to buy it over the Internet, there are many companies that sell them (for example: https://tarjetasimanonima.com).

But... Are they legal?

There are no direct laws against anonymous SIM cards, so their use is not a crime in itself. In other words, yes, they are legal.

And... how much do they cost?

They are usually around 50-100€, they are special and expensive cards, popular among criminals, scammers, secret agents or even for journalists or activists operating in countries that do not respect freedom of speech so much.
