To set up a proxy server on Windows, you can perform the following steps based on the information in the search results:
1.Automatic Proxy Setup:
-Open Settings.
-Click Network and Internet.
-Select Proxy.
-Open the Auto Detect setting under Automatic Proxy Settings.

2.Manual Proxy Settings:
-Open Settings.
-Click Network and Internet.
-Select Proxy.
-Open Use Proxy Server under Manual Proxy Settings.
-Enter the proxy IP address and port in the corresponding boxes.

3. Use the Control Panel:
-In any version of Windows, find the proxy settings through the Control Panel.
-Click Start and open Control Panel.
-Then click Internet Options and go to Connections > LAN Settings.

Set up the proxy manually:
-Open Settings.
-Click Network and Internet.
-Select Proxy.
-Open Use Proxy Server under Manual Proxy Settings.
-Enter the IP address and port provided by your network administrator.
These steps will allow you to configure a proxy server on your Windows system, either for auto-detection or manual settings
