How to Block a Windows Firewall
Windows Firewall is a built-in security feature that helps protect your computer from unauthorized network access. However, sometimes you may want to block the firewall for a specific program or service, such as a game or a streaming app. In this post, I will show you how to block the Windows Firewall in a few simple steps.
Step 1: Open the Control Panel and click on System and Security.
Step 2: Click on Windows Defender Firewall and then on Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall.
Step 3: Click on Change settings and enter your administrator password if prompted.
Step 4: Find the program or service that you want to block and uncheck the boxes next to it. You can also click on Add another app to browse for the executable file of the program.
Step 5: Click on OK to save the changes and close the window.
You have successfully blocked the Windows Firewall for the selected program or service. You can repeat the same steps to unblock it if needed. Note that blocking the firewall may expose your computer to security risks, so do it at your own discretion and only for trusted programs or services.
