Its not the best thing to do in your interest since .exe is a compiled and executable forum of a code
Unless u have that code (source code) its not easy to clean it

A better approach is to use that file in a VM or using Sandboxie(best)
No matter how dangerous virus there is it sandboxie will protect ur system from being infected
