### Moving Average Ribbon – 2025 Trend Strength & Entry Machine
(The visual cheat code that shows you exactly when a trend is alive or dying)

Core Idea
Plot 8–10 consecutive EMAs (usually 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233) on the same chart.

Full expansion + all in perfect order = rocket fuel trend
Compression or twisting = consolidation or reversal incoming

You only trade when the ribbon is fully expanded and price pulls back to the ribbon for continuation.

Best Pairs in 2025
GBP/JPY, EUR/JPY, XAUUSD, NAS100, GBP/USD, AUD/JPY – the ones that trend for weeks.

Best Timeframes
H4 (perfect), Daily (set-and-forget), H1 (faster entries).

Exact 2025 Mechanical Rules

Long Setup
1. Ribbon is fully expanded (no overlaps, clear staircase up)
2. All EMAs in perfect bullish order (8 > 13 > 21 > … > 233)
3. Price pulls back and touches the middle of the ribbon (34–55 EMA zone)
4. Bullish candle closes off the ribbon (pin bar, engulfing, or strong green)
5. Enter on close of that candle

Short Setup – mirror image (perfect bearish staircase down)

Stop-Loss
Just below the ribbon (55 or 89 EMA) or previous swing – whichever is closer.

Take-Profit

Fixed 1:4 minimum
Or ride until ribbon starts compressing or price closes back inside the ribbon
Monsters: hold until full twist/reversal (can be 1:15+ on H4 GBP/JPY)

Only trade when the 8 and 233 EMA are at least 150 pips apart (full expansion)
Pullback must be the first or second touch after expansion
Ribbon must be rising/falling at >30° angle
Double size when pullback candle also sits on daily S/R or 61.8% Fib
