### Pin Bar + Trendline Strategy – 2025 Clean & Deadly Accurate Version
(The classic price-action combo that never dies)

Core Idea
A pin bar (long wick, tiny body) that rejects a rising or falling trendline is one of the highest-probability reversal or continuation setups in all of forex. The trendline shows where buyers/sellers stepped in before; the pin bar shows they’re doing it again – harder.

Best Pairs in 2025
GBP/JPY, EUR/JPY, GBP/USD, XAUUSD, USD/JPY, EUR/USD – anything that trends and respects structure.

Best Timeframes
H4 (king), Daily (set-and-forget), H1 (for faster trades, slightly lower win rate).

Exact 2025 Rules – Zero Discretion
1. Draw a valid trendline: minimum 3 touches, the more the better, still sloping (not flat).
2. Wait for price to return and touch the trendline a 4th+ time.
3. Look for a perfect pin bar at the touch:
- Nose (wick) at least 2–3× longer than the body
- Body inside the previous candle’s range or near the trendline
- Close near the opposite end of the range (bullish pin closes near high, bearish near low)
4. Confirmation (mandatory):
- Pin bar rejects the trendline by at least 5 pips (nose pokes through but closes back)
- Next candle opens and closes in the direction of the rejection
5. Enter on close of the confirmation candle or 50% retrace of the pin bar.

Stop-Loss

3–10 pips beyond the tip of the pin bar nose (the absolute extreme).
Never wider than 1× ATR(14) – if it is, skip the trade.

Take-Profit Rules

Fixed 1:3 minimum (most pros use this)
Or previous swing high/low (often 1:4–1:8 on H4 GBP/JPY)
Partial at 1:2, trail the rest with the trendline or 21 EMA

Golden Filters for 85%+ Win Rate

Only trade pin bars that form at the trendline during London or NY session
Trendline must be at least 2 weeks old (fresh lines get faked out)
Skip if pin bar forms inside the Ichimoku Cloud or near big round number (000/500)
Double size when the pin bar also sits on a 61.8% Fib or daily S/R

This is the single cleanest, highest-probability pure price-action setup that exists in 2025. No indicators, no lag, no guessing. Just wait for the perfect pin bar to smack the trendline, press the button, and collect. Master this one setup and you never need another strategy again.
