USDCAD – Potential Downsides (Top-Down CLS View)

Below is a clean downside roadmap using Monthly → Weekly CLS logic, focusing on where price is most likely drawn if bearish conditions persist.

1. Monthly Context (Primary Draw)

Failure to sustain above Monthly EQ / range high increases downside probability.
Unfilled monthly inefficiencies (FVGs) below current price act as magnets.
If monthly buy-side liquidity has been swept, the natural next objective is monthly sell-side.

Monthly Bias Risk: Shift from neutral → bearish if monthly closes weaken below EQ.

2. Weekly CLS – Continuation to the Downside

If price is aligning bearishly with the monthly framework, expect a Weekly CLS Model 1 (bearish) sequence:

Weekly buy-side sweep
- Prior week high taken (often early week).
Bearish displacement
- Strong impulsive move down, breaking weekly internal structure.
Retracement into premium
- Weekly FVG / order block / EQ.
Expansion lower
- Delivery toward weekly → monthly sell-side liquidity.

3. Key Downside Liquidity Pools

Watch these as step-by-step objectives, not just one target:

Internal sell-side
- Recent equal lows
- Weak daily lows
External sell-side
- Major weekly swing lows
- Monthly range low
Imbalances
- Daily / weekly FVGs left below price

Expect reaction → pause → continuation at each pool.

4. Daily Confirmation Signals (Execution Filter)

Downside strengthens if you see:

Daily lower high formation
Bearish BOS / CHoCH
Clean rejection from premium zones
Weak bullish candles (wicks, no follow-through)

No confirmation = patience. CLS needs delivery, not guessing.

5. Invalidation of Downside Scenario

Bearish continuation is invalid if:

Strong weekly close back above EQ
No displacement after buy-side sweep
Monthly structure flips bullish again

If invalidated → shift to range or reversal model, not forced shorts.

6. Simple Downside Playbook

Bias: Bearish below weekly EQ
Sell Zone: Weekly / Daily premium (FVG, OB)
Stop: Above weekly swing high
Targets:
1. Internal sell-side
2. Weekly lows
3. Monthly sell-side liquidity
