Wi-Fi Deauthentication (Deauth):
- Wi-Fi deauthentication is a deliberate action that forces a Wi-Fi client (device) to disconnect from a Wi-Fi network.
- This is accomplished by sending deauthentication frames to the target device, impersonating the access point or router.
- Deauthentication frames are a part of the Wi-Fi protocol and can be used to maintain network integrity by forcing disconnected devices to re-authenticate.
- Deauthentication can also be misused for unauthorized disconnection, which can disrupt network access for legitimate users or be used for malicious purposes.
